Power Raking
 

Power Raking helps to remove dead thatch from your lawn. If your lawn is too thick, it will choke out new growth.

Power-Raking removes dead tangled grass and moss from your lawn, allows air and moisture access to the ground and the lawn root zone. It also decreases watering requirements as well as increases disease resistance. Power raking allows for lawn rejuvenation and or renovation.

Light (shallow) power raking may be beneficial if done often. Deep power raking of a thatchy lawn can be damaging, and can remove a substantial portion of the living turf. Used properly, power raking of wet, matted turf can speed spring green-up by letting air move into the root zone and warm the turf.
